The Latine High School Student Leadership Conference, a conference that is providing resources for Latine high school students and celebrating diversity in schools is now being hosted at LBCC! This years theme is "Rise and Lead with Authenticity." This year the conference is on May 3rd in the gym at LBCC, dozens of different colleges and employers have come together to provide information to these students about their opportunities.
Roast Runners Cafe on campus at LBCC provides hand crafted drinks every day to students. They have something for everyone's tastes from coffee drinks, teas, flavored Redbull, to Italian sodas! Roast Runners is open 8am-3pm Monday- Friday every week.
Chareane Wimbley-Gouveia was awarded the Jurors Choice Award at the annual juried student art show at LBCC for her ceramic piece titled Endangered: The Awakening To Random Gun Violence. This annual art show is open to all student at LBCC to submit their work for the chance at cash rewards and display of their art in one of the many LBCC art galleries on campus. Taking place in May every year and held in North Santiam Hall.
